These terms govern your use of Sluice (the "Service"), operated by [Company legal name], [registered address] ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
Sluice gives you one API that forwards your requests to third-party AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq and Together AI), chooses which provider serves each request, and reports what it cost. Responses are generated by those providers, not by us, and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for how you use them.
You must give a valid email address and keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for all usage under your account and keys. Tell us promptly at [support email] if you think a key or your account has been compromised; you can revoke keys at any time in the dashboard.
The Service is prepaid. Each request is charged at the serving provider's list price for the tokens used, plus a fee equal to 25% of the difference between that price and the direct list price of the model you requested, when the served price is lower. If there is no saving, there is no fee. Current prices are shown on the Models & prices page and each response states its cost. Payments are processed by Stripe. Credit is non-transferable and does not expire while your account is open. Except where the law requires otherwise, purchased credit is non-refundable; contact us at [support email] about mistaken purchases. If a payment is reversed or disputed, we deduct the corresponding credit.
You may not use the Service to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to generate content prohibited by the usage policies of the underlying providers, to attempt to access other users' data, to probe or overload our systems, or to resell access without our written permission. We may suspend accounts that do.
We work to keep the Service available and fail over between providers, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [Adjust for your jurisdiction.]
